They make you feel like they have known you forever and make you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. The owners of Bent Creek Lodge are wonderful and very gracious. Once we tell our family members that we are going to stay there, everyone wants to join us. We have stayed more than once and plan on staying again. The property that the Lodge and the Luhn house sits on is breathtaking and invites relaxation. It has all the amenities that we need to accommodate our family. The home is beautiful and spacious and nicely maintained. There is no better place to do that than at the Luhn House managed by Bent Creek Lodge. ![]() This house is highly recommended.īent Creek Lodge and the Luhn House My family and I love getting together with family members that we don’t get to see all that often. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby but the cabin and lodge are set in the woods. Looking for a one-of-a-kind getaway Well this is the one Come glamp at our luxurious glamping dome that has all the amenities to make your trip. This location is really in Asheville near the Asheville Arboriteum. The lodge itself was new but appeared to be have been there for many years. This accommodation is located in West Asheville, making it great for being both in the city and the mountains. While only 600 square feet, the Rad Pad makes it feel much larger with its modern design. The value of renting this house was great ( $400 a night). The Rad Pad is an Asheville Airbnb that is perfect for someone who is off and exploring but wants a nice place to relax. It sleeps 8 to10 but we only used 2 rooms for 4 people each with a private bath.The kitchen has everything you need. There are 2 outdoor decks, an outdoor grill and hottub. The house is in meticulous condition and decorated like a craft gallery. The high ceilings and windows with stone fireplace and large open spaces are spectacular. However, problems for the city started to arise when investors began buying up properties solely for the purpose of using them for short-term rentals. "Initially, Asheville wanted to give regular citizens the ability to benefit as much as they could from the tourist economy that is so strong here." "There's an initial positive impact to that because people who aren't hoteliers or maybe don't own tourist-centric businesses have the ability to benefit from the tourism boom with what they do have, which is maybe a property that they can rent," Branham explained.
